Barrie store - Comment (On: February 10, 2007)
I have been purchasing yarn from the Barrie store since sept. & am knitting Breast Cancer scarves with a portion of the proceeds being donated to The Breast Cancer Foundation. I will be appearing on Breakfast T.V. in Toronto and require more yarn. The problem is I live 3 hours north of Barrie and can not get to the store in the near future. I called and asked if they could send me the Soft Pink Fun Fur I required. They explained that this was against store policy. I offered to pay all costs. Being a cancer survivor myself I feel that I am doing my small part to win the war against this terrible disease but I feel I have run into a brick wall with the Barrie store. I understand "policy" as I was a Bank Manager for 30 years but I feel this is an extenuating circumstance. Anything you could do for me would be greatly appreciated.
