False Advertising/Racism? - Comment (On: June 19, 2006)
Ad in Arab News June 08, 2006 lists airfare to Cairo at $1340.00. I called on June 17, 2006 to request booking of flight. Agent hesitated, then stated that offer expired May 31, 2006. When I explained that I was looking at an ad for the above issue, she stated that they could provide me with a flight that `would be close to that price`. She further stated that if I came back in August she would be able to give me a price that `would be close to that price`. This felt like racism as I spoke North American English noticeably without a non-North American accent. I will shop around then return to Owner/Manager to show he/she not only lost commission for flight but also for the 10 day Egyptian cruise I will be booking.
